Job Description

Overview:

Reporting into VP, Client Solutions the Performance Planner optimizes Performance Marketing investment against business outcomes to drive ROI for Performics’ clients.  The Planner’s role is to design best-in-class Performance programs and rally channel teams around innovative strategies and best practice tactics to deliver forward-thinking Performance Marketing solutions.

An agency advocate

Ensure that Performics is represented in the appropriate way across the region, including:

  • Product Leadership & Innovation
  • Brand Marketing
  • Strategic planning
  • Client partnerships
     

Key outcomes will include:

  • Healthy relationships across client organization
  • Performics has a strategic seat at the table when developing strategy and commercials
  • A clear understanding of the agency business and our role within the client group
  • A strong connection with Performics local markets to understand needs and respond to them
  • Spot and exploit opportunities to elevate the Performics brand both internally and in the client organization 
  • Build long term, mutually beneficial, partnerships across the client and Publicis organization
  • Continually communicate opportunities to optimise team structure and capability to deliver against client goals

Planning Excellence

  • Campaign response, design and justification to deliver recommended approach to local teams
  • Extract meaning from data to simplify and provide context to our clients on planning and investment decisions
  • Ongoing project management including the marshalling of budgets and the briefing of campaigns
  • QA local plan delivery against data points and test & learn agenda
  • Work with the Analytics team to ensure metrics and measurement mirror our clients’ business objectives
  • Creative problem solving, analytical reasoning skills and taking ownership of challenges to the point of resolution
  • Liaison between Publicis Media practice areas, Publicis Groupe functions and partner agencies to exploit opportunities to develop planning approach
  • Facilitate the development and documentation of best practices for improving planning at a global, regional and local level
  • Provide training and learning material to the network where necessary
  • Interface regularly with markets to understand needs and respond to them
  • Interface regularly with global Performics team to contribute to strategy and understand global objectives
  • Partner with Starcom client team to understand account strategies and align digital marketing to drive cohesive marketing plans focused to hit to business goals

 

Client Leadership

  • Develops a cadence of merchandising materials that supports Performics accomplishments and reinforces innovative thinking within the client’s marketing organization
  • Develops and fosters account relationships. Working towards 100% account retention within a defined portfolio of accounts
  • Continually refreshes and invigorates essential program strategies to ensure they continually deliver best in class results and have the support of key client stakeholders
  • Develops a complete understanding of each client’s goals, markets, needs and expectations of Performics and proactively solve client business problems
  • Attends client meetings on ongoing basis and maintains a high level of in-person visibility for local clients
  • Prepares and delivers strategic presentations to senior level clients to report out results and build consensus for key projects
  • Solves client problems and uses conflict management skills within a professional environment
  • Interfaces with other department leads to share ideas, communicate offerings, and to identify new solutions for clients
  • Maintain strong relationships with the Performics network and ensure global delivery excellence
  • Keeps senior management apprised of key opportunities, potential risks and other nuances which affect business health
  • Coordinates with sister agency in all aspects of program operations, planning, and execution

 

Team Leadership & Development

  • Embraces and encourages a culture based on team work, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity
  • Motivates, leads, and manages local teams, working collaboratively to drive programs that meet clients’ business objectives
  • Drives adoption of account management best practices by example setting, positive reinforcement and behavioral correction
  • Assists in interviewing, hiring, training, mentoring, developing, and evaluating team members

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • In depth understanding of digital marketing landscape and best practice
  • Proficient in data driven digital marketing programs
  • Extensive knowledge about the consumer electronics industry (mobile)
  • Experience implementing digital performance media programs
  • Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders to hit revenue targets
  • Working with cross functional teams to achieve common target
  • Strong communication and relationship building experience
  • Proficient in English
  • Travel 10-15%
