Job Description

As a Partner Engineer IV, you'll collaborate with Partner Development Managers and ISV Sales Specialists to expand and support Google Cloud's partner ecosystem. You'll enable partners with deep technical expertise, ensuring they effectively utilize Google Cloud services to innovate, accelerate time-to-market, and achieve business growth. Responsibilities encompass supporting partners through proof of concept, migration, and deployment phases, providing access to Google Cloud resources, and building technical assets like documentation and demos. You will also work to identify and recruit new partners, onboard them to the Marketplace, and scale customer wins through strong partner relationships. The role requires extensive experience in cloud architecture, partner engagement, and solution delivery.

Must have:

10+ years cloud architecture experience
Partner-facing or support role experience
Experience with ISVs
Excellent communication & presentation skills
Workload migration to cloud environments
Designing and building cloud architectures

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience with cloud architecture in a partner-facing or support role.
Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
Experience designing and building architectures and migrating workloads to cloud environments.
Experience working with an ISV.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience building strategic business partnerships with ISVs and customers in an architecture or solution delivery role.
Experience with modern infrastructure (e.g. cloud service providers) or modern applications platforms and migrating applications and services to cloud platforms.
Experience with networking and security concepts.
Experience with Google Cloud solutions.
Experience managing multiple stakeholders, and working cross-functionally, in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, with experience conducting partner CTO/technical engagements.

As a Partner Engineer, you will work closely with Partner Development Managers and Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Sales Specialists to grow and support the Google Cloud partner ecosystem. In this role, you will be part of the team responsible for enabling partners with deep technical knowledge across technologies and solutions. You will contribute to customer adoption of Google Cloud by supporting partners as they illustrate how Google Cloud services can help customers innovate, bring their services to market faster, differentiate against the competition, and create new business growth streams. You will help partners succeed in the proof of concept, migration, and deployment phases, ensuring they have full access to Google Cloud’s artifacts, tools, templates, and best practices.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $181,000-$257,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

Enable partners in prototyping and demonstrating product integrations and guiding customers through assessments of their existing legacy application environments. Support partners developing solutions, ensuring the best use of Google Cloud.
Recommend and review integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure required to implement complete solutions on Google Cloud.
Work with Partner Managers and Partner Engineers to identify and recruit partners in the market that can deliver innovative and complete solutions to our customers. Onboard partners to the Marketplace and empower them to drive successful pilots, proofs of concept, and production workloads.
Build technical assets. Collaborate with partners to develop Google Cloud-specific solution documentation, joint technical articles, webinars, whitepapers, and demos with ISV products.
Scale customer wins through partners by promoting the partner with account teams and developing deep relationships.
