About the Role & Team
The Order Control Clerk plays a crucial role in the Disney Vacation Club Sales Operation department. You will be is responsible for managing and delivering inventory of various sales and marketing materials across Discovery Desks and Welcome Home Centers at Walt Disney World, as well as to Disney Cruise Line vessels. You will collaborate closely with Disney Vacation Sales and Operations partners to ensure that necessary materials are available to support business needs.
If selected for this role, you will report to the Sales Support and Service Manager.
This is a Full-Time role.
What You Will Do
Deliver office supplies and current marketing materials to Discovery Desks and Welcome Home Centers across the Walt Disney World property.
Maintain accurate weekly inventory counts of all sales and marketing materials at all Discovery Desks and Welcome Home Centers.
Follow inventory management best practices and standards shared by Sales and Operations Leadership for both Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Line.
Create inventory orders via StoreFront for weekly delivery to Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, ensuring proper stock levels are maintained.
Manage inventory and needs for the Disney Vacation Club Cruise Line Sales team aboard all ships in the fleet, including planning, forecasting, ordering, receiving, storing, and inventorying.
Build and place orders in StoreFront by required deadlines, ensuring par stock levels are maintained for each marketing collateral item and office supply.
Determine appropriate order quantities based on historical usage, future events, and Sales team needs.
Coordinate with Disney Cruise Line Sales teams for inventory counts and order shipments in a timely manner, working with R.R. Donnelley to ensure efficient deliveries to all ships.
Deliver sales and marketing supplies to Disney Cruise Line ships in Port Canaveral, Miami, or Fort Lauderdale as needed.
Manage outgoing mail collection and incoming mail distribution to the appropriate team members.
Perform safety and cleanliness checks at all Discovery Desks and Welcome Home Centers, opening tickets or notifying partners as necessary.
Unload pallets and store items in the correct locations.
Complete bi-weekly vehicle checklist for safety and maintenance.
Assist the Senior Order Control Clerk with deliveries or project tasks as needed.
Support any special requests from the Sales Support and Services Managers.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Ability to work efficiently under time-sensitive deadlines.
Strong ability to follow directions and take initiative with minimal supervision.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
Must have a valid FL Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Ability to be flexible with work schedules, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Capability to withstand physical activity in an outdoor environment.
Ability to move boxes and lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven experience working with provision schedules.
Experience in managing, forecasting, and ordering inventory to meet deadlines.
Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver on time.
Self-directed with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience in inventory management or warehouse operations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software programs.
Knowledge of Walt Disney World Company and its property.
High School Degree or Equivalent.
