Job Description

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking experienced Systems Software/Embedded Systems engineers for various roles within PlayStation platform development. This includes development across the entire stack, from hardware to OS, server, client, and applications. Engineers will be involved in code creation, impacting functionality and performance of the user experience. Open positions span a wide range of areas, including application, SDK, kernel, driver, firmware, and processor software development. Experience with multiple platforms (PS5, PS4, Win, iOS, Android, Mac) and areas like server functionality, network infrastructure, security, encryption, hardware control, and system optimization using GPUs and other console components is highly valued. The ideal candidate is passionate about coding, collaborative, and persistent in problem-solving.

Must have:

C/C++ development experience
Low-level programming experience
Experience in at least one of: kernel/driver/SDK development, GPU parallel processing, audio signal processing, network protocol software development

Good to have:

Shader language development
Mobile/PC application development
Experience with multiple platforms (PS5, PS4, Win, iOS, Android, Mac)

・各部門ではコードの作成までを行っており、エンジニア志向の組織です。

◆想定される機能・開発分野：
・PlayStationのシステムソフトウェア領域の募集では、アプリケーション、SDK、カーネル、デバイスドライバ、ファームウェア、プロセッサのためのソフトウェアに至るまで幅広い部署で募集を行っています。
・それ以外にも、PS5,PS4,Win,iOS,Android,Macなど複数のプラットフォームで動作するアプリケーション開発や、サーバー機能開発、ネットワークインフラ、セキュリティや暗号化（コンテンツ保護）に関わる開発などもあります。
・また、ハードウェア制御、システム最適分野においては、GPUやサウンドプロセッサなど、コンソール内部のハードウェアコンポーネントやコンソール全体のパフォーマンスを向上させるための低レベルでの開発・最適化などを行うチームもあります。

◆応募要件：下記いずれかに該当する方

・上記の業務に関連するご経験をお持ちの方
・C/C++での開発経験
・シェーダー言語の開発経験
・低レイヤのプログラミング経験
・カーネルやドライバ開発、SDK開発経験
・GPUを利用した並列処理プログラムの開発経験
・音声信号処理に関わる開発経験
・通信、ネットワークプロトコルに関するソフトウェア開発経験をお持ちの方
・モバイルアプリ開発、PCアプリケーション開発
