Job Summary

Job Description

Smilegate Entertainment is seeking a Background Artist for their Next Crossfire project. Responsibilities include creating CFHD background concepts, developing background outsourcing concept guides and mood artwork. The ideal candidate possesses expertise in creating realistic background mood concepts and prop concepts, along with a strong understanding of FPS game design principles like player visibility, movement flow, and key point placement. Proficiency in Photoshop is essential. Experience with Unreal Engine 3 or 4 and 3D modeling software (e.g., 3D Max) is a plus. This is a full-time position based in Seongnam, South Korea.

Must have:

Realism background mood & prop concepts
Photoshop proficiency
FPS game background design understanding
Accurate perspective & composition
Lighting & environmental effects

Good to have:

Unreal Engine 3/4 experience
3D modeling software experience (3DMax)
Experience in realistic FPS game development

- 실사풍 배경 무드컨셉 제작 역량 - 실사풍 배경 프랍 컨셉 및 제작 가이드 제작 역량 - 실무 운용수준의 포토샵 사용역량

필요역량

- 피아식별, 동선파악, 주요거점 등 FPS 게임 플레이에 필요한 배경 구성에 대한 이해도 - 사실적 배경의 비례 및 구성에 대한 이해도 - 생동감 있는 배경 구성을 위한 라이팅, 환경효과에 대한 이해도

우대사항

- 실사풍 FPS게임 개발 경험 - 언리얼3, 언리얼4 엔진 사용경험 - 3D 리소스 제작툴 (3DMax 등)
