ByteDance is looking for a passionate and talented Merchant Acquisition & Incubation Management professional to join its E-commerce team in the Philippines. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in business development with a focus on online merchant acquisition and partnership management within the e-commerce industry. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing online strategies for merchant recruitment and incubation, cultivating relationships with external agencies, collaborating on localized educational content for merchants, analyzing performance and making strategic adjustments, and coordinating across departments to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Must have:

Responsibilities: - Online Merchant Acquisition Strategy: Develop and implement innovative online strategies for merchant recruitment and incubation. Focus on digital channels to attract high-potential merchants and enhance the platform's reach. - Strategic Partnership Development: Cultivate and maintain relationships with external agencies, including educational institutions and BPO providers, to support and enrich merchant services and education. - Localized Content Collaboration: Work with partners to develop tailored educational content for merchants, ensuring relevance to diverse market segments. - Performance Analysis and Strategic Adjustments: Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of online merchant acquisition strategies and partnership activities, modifying approaches for improved outcomes and ROI. - Cross-Functional Coordination: Ensure alignment of online merchant acquisition strategies with overall business objectives, collaborating with marketing, category and regional teams.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification: - 3-5 years of experience in business development with a focus on online merchant acquisition and partnership management in the e-commerce industry. - Expertise in Digital Business Development: Proven track record in developing and executing online business development strategies, particularly in e-commerce. - Partnership Management: Strong experience in building and managing relationships with a variety of external partners. Preferred Qualification: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Digital Commerce, or a related field. - Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to use market data and analytics to drive strategic decisions in online merchant acquisition. - Collaborative Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of working across different departments and with external partners.
