The ideal candidate will possess strong writing, communication, and project management skills, along with expertise in social media and SEO.

Manager, Brand Marketing

Position Overview

We are looking for a talented Manager of Content Marketing to take full responsibility for our marketing strategies including our digital destinations, client communications, social media, blogs and innovative content series. 

Our ideal candidate is a creative marketer with a background in writing, preferably with an eye for design. You should be able to develop engaging content to attract, engage and delight our users and clients. For this position, it will be essential to be up to date with new technologies and marketing trends. Ultimately, you should be able to expand our company’s digital footprint, brand awareness and thought leadership in the market. 

Our content marketing leader will require excellent interpersonal and communicative skills, as well as demonstrate sound leadership and decision-making ability. A passion for solving problems through storytelling is a major plus. This is a hands-on role within a team reimaging the impact of brand and marketing across the organization. An open mind, open thinking and start-up mentality will be necessary for success. This role will report to the VP, Marketing. 

Core Responsibilities

  • Design content marketing strategies and set short- and long-term content marketing initiatives to achieve business goals.
  • Collaborate with the larger marketing team to produce high-quality content.
  • Develop and own the editorial calendar, manage tasks, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Channel management of digital content hubs and all supporting social channels including email/newsletter distribution. This person must understand the basic best practices of the main social media channels, which content and approaches work on each and why.
  • Deliver engaging content on a regular basis that helps set our name in the marketplace.
  • Edit, proofread and improve content.
  • Development of editorial governance so content is consistent with our brand voice, style and tone.
  • Optimize content considering SEO and Google Analytics.
  • Measuring the results of marketing activity to inform future marketing campaigns.
  • Share content through various channels, ensuring a strong digital presence.
  • Integration of product with brand campaigns to drive awareness and education.
  • Executive presentations on the program approaches and results will be required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications

  • Advanced Proficiency in HubSpot preferred.
  • Editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Possesses expertise in social media platforms.
  • Project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • 3-5 years’ experience as a Marketing Manager or related position preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4-year degree preferred; relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Advanced Proficiency in HubSpot preferred.

Special Work Conditions    

  • Sedentary – Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Some positions may entail exerting up to 15 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, or pull.
Compensation is commensurate with various factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, training, licensure, certifications, geographic cost of labor, and other business and organizational needs. Compensation range for candidates in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
The compensation range for this position is:
$100,000$120,000 USD
