Summary

The Content Reporting and Database Manager at Warner Bros. Discovery will provide operational support to regional Content Management teams. Responsibilities include defining, obtaining, and analyzing content management metrics and KPIs through data validation, cross-referencing, and analysis. This role involves process optimization, supporting new initiatives, and leading a team of analysts. The manager will guide the team in creating reports, identifying trends, performing root cause analysis, and implementing preventive checks to detect content processing issues. Collaboration with other Latam GCM managers to create and review regional KPIs is crucial. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a team, strong analytical skills, experience with data analysis tools, and a relevant degree. Advanced English and technical knowledge of media and content management workflows are essential.

The Job

They will achieve operational support activities to the broader regional Content Management teams (onboarding, longform servicing and ancillary servicing) by defining, obtaining and analyzing content management metrics, KPIs, and preventive checks via data validation, cross referencing and data analysis, process optimization, and support for new initiatives and business requirements in the Latam region.

Major Activities

  • Leads the analysts from the team both in terms of goals and priorities but also as a technical leader: is a reference in terms of how to create reports, which systems and trackers provide the most accurate information, how to present the information to the broader GCM Latam team, etc
  • Manages the team that defines, obtains and analyzes SLA metrics for each respective CoE and performs content analysis when required (example: SOMUS)
  • Collaborates with the other Latam GCM managers and drives the creation, implementation and review of regional Content Management KPIs
  • Leads the analysts to Identify trends, context information and root cause analysis of issues to support CoE collaboration in defining and implementing SLA’s. Leads the analysts to define, obtain and operate preventive checkups that can detect content processing issues ahead of time.
  • Leads the team on any analysis needed for non-BAU tasks required by the broader Content Management team.  
     

The Essentials

  • Experience managing at least 1 person for at least 6 months
  • Great analytical skills
  • Experience with data analysis and data analysis tools (tableau, looker, powerBI, python, R, or similar)
  • Relevant Degree
  • Ability to work on cross functional multi-cultural teams in a collaborative way
  • Advanced English
  • Technical knowledge of media workflows and content management workflows

  • Knowledge of content production and media formats
