- Job Title: Manager, Digital Merchandising
- Job Summary: The Pokémon International Company is embarking on an innovation journey and radically transforming its digital commerce capabilities to meet accelerating international demand for original and collectable Pokémon products. A world-renowned brand with a startup culture, committed at the highest executive levels to leveraging the most modern technologies to achieve a bold new vision for our company and our fans, we are looking for a Manager in Digital Merchandising and Content that will be responsible for driving digital growth and deliver a best in class ecommerce experience on Pokémon Center’s North American storefronts This role will lead the merchandising and content strategies and for Pokémon Center by driving digital engagement with new and existing customers with a focus on conversion and sustainable growth across all categories.

What you’ll do
- Directly manage a diverse team of Digital Merchandisers, Designers, and Project Managers, providing training and guidance on approved merchandising and content strategies aligned to business objectives
- Responsible for the overall digital presentation of both North American storefronts and drives achievement of financial objectives by analyzing data and optimizing customer experience
- Primary Stakeholder and Responsible for Global end-to-end Editorial Content planning and strategy
- Work alongside Marketing teams to align Storefront content and merchandising plans with global marketing beats
- Lead Quarterly and Monthly reviews of Content Plans with Category Management and Marketing
- Lead Weekly reviews of Staged Content for North American Storefronts
- Manage Site Enhancement and Project Roadmap for Digital Merchandising & Content Teams
- Define priorities and partner with Technical Project Management Team to execute a complex array of projects throughout the year
- Work in CMS and Merchandising Tool to create build and stage content and merchandising strategies
- Manage relationship with several external vendors and partners
- Plan and manage photography budget for site content
What you’ll bring
- 7+ years’ experience as a Digital Merchandiser for an online retailer
- 3+ years experience as a People Manager
- Experience with Content Management Systems and Product Information Management systems
- Proficiency with Excel and website analytics tools like Google Analytics or Omniture/Adobe Analytics
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to be flexible with problem-solving to meet objectives
- Ability to effectively deal with ambiguity as business needs change
Base Salary Range: For this role, new hires generally start between $126,000.00 - $149,150.00 per year. The full range is $126,000.00 - $188,000.00 per year. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. The final base salary is directly related to the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience uniquely.
