Gigamon is seeking an experienced Manager, Accounting – Commission with 12 years of experience to lead the management of our company’s sales commission plans. This role involves reviewing sales deals, calculating commissions, managing commission structures, and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payments in line with company policies. The ideal candidate will also play a key role in resolving commission-related issues and supporting audits. Responsibilities include: Leading the review of sales deals and ensuring that commissions are calculated according to the company’s policy, overseeing and approving the calculation of sales commissions, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company plans and policies, developing, implementing, and managing multiple commission plans, ensuring transparency and clear communication across the organization, managing and reconciling the general ledger, ensuring the integrity of financial data. Understanding of relevant accounting standards is advantageous, proactively identifying and resolving any commission-related issues or discrepancies, working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth processes, managing and mentoring a team responsible for commission processing, ensuring timely and accurate execution of tasks, serving as the point of contact for internal and external audits related to commissions, providing necessary documentation and data as needed, working closely with the finance, HR, and sales teams to ensure the integrity of commission payments and reporting, and continuously evaluating and enhancing commission processes, identifying areas for improvement in calculation, reporting, and reconciliation.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in compensation, finance, or sales operations roles, with at least 3-5 years in managerial capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and sales compensation plans.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, experience with software tools like Exactly and ERP accounting systems.
  • Familiarity with commission tracking systems and audit processes.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex commission structures.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across departments and leadership levels.

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Accounting – Commission with 12 years of experience to lead the management of our company’s sales commission plans. This role involves reviewing sales deals, calculating commissions, managing commission structures, and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payments in line with company policies. The ideal candidate will also play a key role in resolving commission-related issues and supporting audits. 
 
What you’ll do:   
  • Sales Deal Review: Lead the review of sales deals and ensure that commissions are calculated according to the company’s policy.
  • Commission Calculation & Approval: Oversee and approve the calculation of sales commissions, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company plans and policies.
  • Commission Plan Management: Develop, implement, and manage multiple commission plans, ensuring transparency and clear communication across the organization.
  • General Ledger Accounting and Reconciliation: Manage and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring the integrity of financial data. Understanding of relevant accounting standards is advantageous.  
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve any commission-related issues or discrepancies, working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth processes.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team responsible for commission processing, ensuring timely and accurate execution of tasks.
  • Audit Support: Serve as the point of contact for internal and external audits related to commissions, providing necessary documentation and data as needed.

What you’ve done:
