Central for our LCL product in Nordics is to continue the development, strengthen the pricing strategy and expand our networks.

LCL Growth Enablement & Pricing Specialist

The position covers the Nordic area including Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The position can be based In one of our major office location in any Nordic or Baltic countries.

Key responsibilities

  • Preparation of quotations and pricing/product support to commercial teams, overseas network and other internal and external stakeholders

  • Close cooperation with the Product Manager, sales and Customer Experience / Delivery Teams.

  • Gather data pertaining to additional sales/up-selling opportunities, re-quotes and customer behavior information.

  • Provide marketing and other proposal support for all Sales Team members.

  • Continuously review of existing product rates and quotes.

  • Support tenders administered by the Global Tender Management team.

  • Maintain pricing tools and drive efficiencies and improvements - Analyze volume trends and control allocation need.

  • Provide analytics and reporting regarding volume and margin trends - Collaborate with global and area LCL Product team.

  • In corporation with Product Manager continuously deliver Product excellence and optimization with product.

  • Join customer meetings with sales as product experts / technical sales and use feedback for same to help develop new value propositions    based on customer feedback.

We are looking for

  • A person with a high level of self-motivation and strong communication skills

  • A good team-player and motivator with a sense of urgency and a focus on result orientation who is cost conscious and has good skills in negotiating and pricing

  • A high level of commercial awareness as well as excellent operation execution skills

  • He/she can rely on a good network within the freight forwarding community and has a winning mindset which makes him/her go the extra mile in order to be successful

  • Very good knowledge of logistics & forwarding industry and markets

  • Very good operational ocean freight forwarding knowledge and experienced in pricing businesses

  • Knowledge of compliance requirements

  • Communication and negotiation techniques

  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in logistics business and previous experience with LCL

  • The ability to write and present in English is mandatory, verbally and in writing
