Must-have experience as an HR Business Partner, Danish labor law knowledge, and employee case management skills. Experience with engagement surveys and talent reviews is a plus.

People & Culture Senior Team Advisor (Maternity Cover)

SYBO is part of the Miniclip family and known for the widely popular game, Subway Surfers - the most downloaded mobile game in the world, with over four billion downloads. Located in the heart of Copenhagen, we aim to create playful moments that inspire our fans to care.

At SYBO, people are the core of our business. In order to keep creating great experiences for our players, we need great people and a great environment - and the People and Culture team, consisting of Team Advisors, Ops and Talent Acquisition, is here to make it a great experience for everyone.

We believe in a kind, professional and playful work environment that enables us all to perform at our best and celebrate shared successes - and we’d hope you share those values with us.

As a Senior Team Advisor for our Games Operational Teams, you’ll play an instrumental role in supporting your leads on all people-related matters.

If you’re looking for a truly diverse workplace with the coolest people from around the world, and you want to make an immediate impact, this is your opportunity. Our headquarters are located in a modernized and playful studio in Copenhagen, just across from Magasin. Come join us in creating some of the best mobile gaming experiences in the world.

You will spend most days at the office initially, transitioning to a model that includes up to two remote workdays per week.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor on all people and culture related matters and initiatives (everything A-Z; from performance management to policies), providing guidance to leaders and employees in your teams
  • Run all People & Culture yearly processes within your teams (e.g., engagement surveys, talent reviews, salary reviews).
  • Ensure compliance with local labor legislation and company requirements for P&C processes and systems
  • Support development and change management initiatives to support organizational needs in close collaboration with your team and leaders
  • Continuously work to maintain a culture based on our values: We Foster Shared Success, We Are Professional Playful and We Act Kindly
  • Take ownership of P&C yearly processes and OKRs that match your experience and competencies

Your start at SYBO

In your first month there will be a variety of new processes and systems to familiarize yourself with. You’ll be introduced to your teams, start building relationships with stakeholders and begin to build an understanding of what makes SYBO special, and what is our mission ahead. It may feel like a lot, but we will provide all the support you need.

After your first three months, you’ve landed and are already fully engaged with your teams, processes and projects in close collaboration with your P&C colleagues.

By the end of your maternity cover, you’ll look back with pride at the impact you’ve made, the relationships you’ve built, and the experiences you’ve gained along the way.

Requirements

  • Solid experience as an HR Business Partner, or similar, within an international and culturally diverse environment
  • Good understanding of the Danish labor law
  • Experience with all stages of the employee’s life cycle
  • Hands-on experience dealing with delicate employee cases and the ability to stay impartial
  • Great process and project management skills - experience with owning and balancing several yearly people processes and P&O projects
  • Good communication skills: you’ll need the ability to facilitate and present, and solid stakeholder management experience.

Bonus points

  • An interest in games is considered a bonus. While you don’t need to be a gamer, enthusiasm for the industry is an added bonus
