About the Role:

In 2025, we’re excited to expand our creative studios worldwide! We’re looking to bring on board talented game VFX artists to join our teams and bring their unique touch to renowned game titles.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with the art team and studio leads to contribute to the artistic vision and style guide for VFX work.
  • Assist in creating high-quality VFX assets that align with the project’s artistic direction and enhance the game experience.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of VFX principles, timing, and attention to detail in the execution of tasks.
  • Show a passion for crafting impactful VFX, including ambient effects, gameplay-driven visuals, and key moments that define the project’s identity.
  • Actively participate in a collaborative and innovative art culture, supporting team initiatives and contributing to the studio’s core values.
  • Work closely with technical teams to learn and apply efficient, stable, and cutting-edge VFX pipelines.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience (at least 1-3 years) contributing to game projects, showcasing high-quality VFX work and technical skill.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates creativity, artistic talent, and a solid understanding of VFX principles.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with a willingness to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Familiarity with VFX tools such as Houdini or Substance Designer, and experience using Unreal Engine or other game engines.
  • Ability to contribute to VFX work that enhances gameplay and player experience.
  • A proactive approach to learning new techniques, tools, and workflows to grow within the role.
  • Be a resident of Canada (Manitoba and Ontario) or Mexico.
