We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our Business Processes and Systems team at Make. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing software tools, engaging with stakeholders, and implementing automation in a dynamic SaaS environment. You will play a key role in maintaining our central repository of software tools, ensuring information accuracy, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our tools asset management processes.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Central Repository Management:
    • Maintain and update the central repository of software tools, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
    • Regularly audit and verify information related to tools ownership, approved tools, licensing, and usage across the organization.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Collaborate with various departments to gather and validate information about software tools.
    • Work closely with stakeholders (Procurement, IT) to ensure timely updates to the central repository and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Process Improvement and Automation:
    • Identify opportunities to enhance and scale the software tools management process by building automations to maintain the system
    • Implement automation solutions to streamline data collection, updates, and reporting.
    • Assist in documenting improvements and best practices to ensure consistent management of software tools.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of the software tools management process.
    • Generate reports on tools usage, compliance, and other key metrics for internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic understanding of software tools and SaaS applications.
  • Familiarity with data management and basic documentation practices.
  • Experience or interest in process improvement and automation.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with our automation tool (Make) is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
