INTERN – Communications

Application Deadline: December 1, 2024

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Work with Nintendo’s Executive and Internal Communications team, which focuses on helping NOA teams communicate effectively as possible throughout the organization

  • Research, coordinate, and author editorial content for release on internal communications platform

  • Develop internal content plans for game releases and employee communications

  • Curate gaming industry news and manage daily email send to internal stakeholders

  • Collaborate with the broader Communications team to gain experience integrating Internal and Executive Communications with marketing around Nintendo products

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3.0+ GPA

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program with a graduation conferral date between May 2025 and June 2026

  • Pursuing a degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field

  • Familiar with editorial content methodologies (e.g. APA format)

  • Knowledge with SharePoint preferred

  • Strong verbal and written communication

  • Mid-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Knowledge of Nintendo’s products a plus

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

  • Able to work 40 hours a week onsite throughout the course of the 10-week summer internship between June – September

This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time. Housing and travel support will be provided for non-local hires.

This internship includes a base pay range of $25 per hour, paid sick and safe time, and perks such as a local transit pass and access to the onsite fitness center. Given the limited duration of the role, interns are not eligible for full-time employee benefits such as healthcare or 401(k).
