Job Summary

Job Description

This HR Operations Payroll Specialist role in Oslo, Norway involves timely collation of payroll data, transmission to external vendors, maintenance of employee payroll records, processing payments (advance, termination, out-of-cycle), and liaison with internal/external stakeholders. Responsibilities include processing garnishments, generating payroll and HR reports, managing relationships with country payroll partners, and recommending process improvements. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and skilled at handling stressful situations while maintaining professional interactions.

Must have:

Payroll data collation & transmission
Employee payroll record maintenance
Payment processing (various types)
Stakeholder liaison (internal/external)
Report generation (payroll & HR)
Process improvement recommendations
Organized and detail-oriented
Experience with payroll input preparation
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel)
Norwegian & English fluency

Good to have:

HRIS and E-Ticketing tool knowledge

What You’ll Do

Responsible for timely collating of payroll relevant data and transmitting all payroll input to our external payroll vendors

Perform tasks to establish and maintain employee payroll records

Process advance, termination and other out-of-cycle payments

Independently coordinate and liaise with our internal stakeholders and/or external parties (as required)

Process and monitor garnishment orders and other issues that impact payroll specifications

Run, develop and distribute payroll and HR reports to various stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner

Manage relationships with country payroll partners to ensure timely and accurate payments, making recommendations for and implementing process improvements

What You’ll Bring

Experience in Payroll input preparation
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
Working knowledge of HRIS and E-Ticketing tool systems a plus
Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks or shift priorities as needed in a fast-changing environment
Proven skill at handling stressful issues and interfacing with all levels of the business in a courteous and professional manner
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; specifically Excel
Norwegian and English language skills; both written and spoken
