Job Summary:

About the Role & Program:

This position presents an exciting opportunity to work within the Financial Reporting team for our Disney Experiences (DX) segment! We are responsible for preparing and reporting quarterly/monthly financial documents along with supporting a variety of project initiatives. This internship is a full-time, three-month commitment in the Orlando, FL area from May 2025-August 2025.

What You Will Do:

As an intern on the team, you will be mainly responsible for assisting with the preparation and analysis of financial documents, journal entries and the reconciliation of accounts to meet financial deliverables. The internship will also involve analyzing business strategies, new business opportunities, and productivity initiatives. It will encompass collaborating and offering recommendations on annual operating plans and monthly forecasts, as well as developing presentations for senior leadership and clients.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles with excellent problem solving and analytical skills 

  • Experience with crafting financial models and reports in Excel (v-lookups/pivot tables) and Power Point

  • Possess strong partnering skills and excellent written/verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills and work ethic

  • Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to SAP or other enterprise systems (i.e. People Soft)

  • A desire to become licensed as a CPA

Education:

  • Junior or Senior year preferred

  • Major or previous coursework in Finance. Accounting, Economics, Business or another related field

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. 

    • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants:  You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization 

Additional Information:

  • Candidate must be fully available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship.

  • This internship is an on-site position, but also requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace for the days you may work from home.

  • Able to provide your own housing and reliable transportation for the duration of the internship program

The pay rate for this role in Florida is $22.00 per hour.
