Meta is seeking a Finance Manager for their Payroll Corporate FP&A team. This role involves modeling and reporting payroll as part of financial planning and analysis. You will gain experience with Meta's business & operations, create impact within a growing Finance organization, and contribute to annual budgeting, long range planning, forecasting, and related data analysis. You will also support ad hoc projects with opportunities for cross-functional interactions. Responsibilities include providing insights into drivers of business growth, contributing to close, forecast, budget and long range planning cycles, developing financial strategies for payroll management, creating financial models and forecasts for payroll-related expenses, and gathering, consolidating, and analyzing operating and financial results for all three financial statements. You will also serve as a liaison and partner to cross-functional teams and assist with ad hoc strategic and operational projects as required.
Must have:
- 10+ years of finance or financial planning and analysis experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience with financial statement analysis and knowledge of corporate finance concepts
- Experience with building financial models in Excel
- Experience with PowerPoint, Oracle, and Hyperion
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools
- Experience in accounting concepts and financial planning
- Demonstrated experience communicating effectively with senior leadership
- Experience working independently and navigating ambiguity
- Detail-oriented and experience multi-tasking and shifting priorities quickly under pressure and tight deadlines

Job Details
Meta is seeking to fill a position on the Payroll Corporate FP&A team, responsible for all facets of modeling and reporting payroll as part of financial planning and analysis. In this role, you will gain invaluable experience with visibility into Meta’s business & operations and create impact within a growing Finance organization. You will be deeply involved with high-profile strategic and operational initiatives, deliver business analytics and insights, and make recommendations for short and long term decisions regarding workforce planning. You will contribute meaningfully to annual budgeting, long range planning, forecasting, and related data analysis, including the evolution of our financial & business planning processes to support an increasingly complex transition to dollar-based budgeting. You will also support ad hoc projects with opportunities for broad cross-functional interactions.
Finance Manager, Payroll FP&A Responsibilities
- Key contributor providing executives with clear insights into drivers of business growth, risks, and opportunities
- Contribute to close, forecast, budget and long range planning cycles, including enhancing Meta’s corporate model and coordinating with stakeholders on assumptions & inputs
- Develop and implement long-term financial strategies for payroll management
- Create financial models and forecasts for payroll-related expenses
- Gather, consolidate, and analyze operating and financial results for all three financial statements, including preparing internal and external reporting deliverables and analyzing and explaining trends & drivers
- Assist with management, Board business, and financial planning, including presentations and key analysis requests
- Serve as a key liaison and partner to cross-functional teams, including Finance, HR, Accounting, IT, and other teams to drive scalable analyses and insights
- Assist with ad hoc strategic and operational projects as required
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of finance or financial planning and analysis experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience with financial statement analysis and a knowledge of corporate finance concepts
- Experience with building financial models in Excel
- Experience with PowerPoint, Oracle, and Hyperion

$142,000/year to $205,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
