Role Overview

Salesforce is seeking an inspiring and accomplished Director of Partner Program Management and Support to lead a high-performing team dedicated to optimizing Partner operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment, excels at creating structure out of ambiguity, and builds strong relationships across diverse teams.

In today’s rapidly evolving AI-driven landscape, this role is pivotal in leveraging Salesforce technologies to streamline processes and ensure it is seamless for Partners to do business with us. The Partner ecosystem includes a mix of top-tier strategic partners: Consulting Partners, Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), Digital Agencies, Resellers, and Managed Service Providers (MSPs).

As a key leader, you will drive operational excellence, lead cross-functional initiatives, and reduce operational debt, creating scalable frameworks for the future. Your work will range from highly strategic initiatives to operational process improvements, always with a focus on delivering actionable insights to executives and enhancing the Partner experience.

Your Impact

  • Provide strategic leadership and accountability for all Partner Program operations, including Consulting Partners, ISVs, and MSPs.

  • Collaborate with the Program Strategy team to design, launch, and support innovative initiatives that elevate the Partner Program.

  • Continuously evolve and optimize Partner Program lifecycle and support processes to ensure scalability and efficiency.

  • Oversee annual global program policies and Partner compliance renewals, ensuring alignment with Salesforce’s strategic goals.

  • Collaborate with GBS Partner Outsourcing to deliver world-class Partner Program support and services.

  • Lead global initiatives with a focus on empowering regional execution teams to deliver impactful results.

  • Drive operational business reviews, presenting key insights and actionable recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Analyze program support case data to uncover actionable insights and transform them into opportunities for enhanced Partner experiences.

Minimum Requirements

Leadership Excellence:

  • 12+ years of experience leading Partner Programs, business operations, channel sales, or program management, with a focus on strategy and execution.

  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams across geographically dispersed regions.

Domain Expertise:

  • Deep understanding of Partner Program design, policy definition, and governance, with demonstrated expertise in scaling operations.

  • Experience driving cross-functional business process and system improvements, with a focus on strategic change management and operational efficiency.

Strategic Mindset:

  • Ability to think holistically and translate long-term vision into tactical, executable plans.

  • Demonstrated success in delivering scalable B2B program operations while driving continuous process optimization.

Operational Mastery:

  • Extensive experience with CRM and PRM platforms, with a focus on how they support and enhance Partner operations.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights that drive measurable improvements.

Communication & Collaboration:

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams to solve complex business challenges.

Results-Driven:

  • A proactive self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and identifies high-impact opportunities.

  • Courageous and confident in challenging the status quo while driving timely execution of initiatives.

Education:

  • Degree or equivalent confirmed experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core proficiencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $174,800 to $253,600.

For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $174,800 to $253,600.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
