Who are we hiring?

The Data Engineer is a member of the Revenue Strategy and Optimization organization and is responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing the Sphere data warehouse used for reporting & analytics. The Data Engineer will work closely with the data science team supporting the development of solutions to drive actionable insights. The Data Engineer has experience designing and developing complex data pipelines.

What will you do?

  • Design, build, and maintain the data pipelines and jobs within Sphere’s data architecture to support the Revenue Management team.
  • Drive automation through data integration across on-premises, and cloud-based systems and processes.
  • Develop high-performance Python based ETL processes and applications to meet the analytics and production data needs of the business.
  • Implement data validation techniques and automated notifications to ensure accuracy and integrity in support of data governance.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience of data engineering.
  • 1 + year of Data Engineering experience.
  • Expertise in data modeling, ETL, and SQL coding.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively while meeting tight deadlines.
  • 1+ year of experience developing data pipelines utilizing one or more of the following tools: Python, SQL, and Amazon Redshift.

Pay Range
$83,000$125,000 USD
