Data Analyst

Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re looking to hire a Data Analyst for a Tech client.

This is a 6+ month contract opportunity. The role is located in Culver City, CA, and is fully on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analytics to support scheduling decisions, launch strategies, performance metrics, and programming for key stakeholders.
• Evaluate content performance across platforms, including streaming, linear, and sports, using third-party data tools such as Nielsen, Comscore, and Ampere to uncover growth opportunities.
• Proactively monitor and communicate viewership trends to guide strategic decision-making.
• Build expertise in industry developments and competitive content performance, translating these insights into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
• Contribute to modeling and forecasting efforts across the content lifecycle.

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on analytical experience, emphasizing actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
• At least 3 years of experience in the media and entertainment industry, with a strong preference for streaming experience.

Skills

• Proficiency in SQL (including writing and optimizing queries), advanced Excel functions, Tableau, and Nielsen data tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present complex data effectively to a variety of audiences.
• A problem-solving mindset and adaptability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field, such as Analytics or Data Science.
