Job Description

This senior PowerBI Developer role requires 5+ years of experience in data mining and analysis. Responsibilities include enhancing the financial dashboard for the 'Reimagine' program, working with project managers to define KPIs and deliver actionable insights, creating interactive PowerBI visualizations from multiple data sources, implementing data acquisition and integration logic, and maintaining databases. The role involves data interpretation, analysis, reporting, and collaborating with stakeholders to improve efficiency and productivity. Strong SQL, Excel, and PowerBI skills are essential.

Must have:

5+ years experience as a developer
Proven analytics skills (mining, evaluation, visualization)
Technical writing experience (queries, reports, presentations)
Strong SQL or Excel skills
Strong PowerBI skills, data visualization and reporting

Good to have:

Bachelor's degree in relevant field
Database and model design experience
Experience with XML, JavaScript, and ETL
Statistical analysis experience (Excel, SPSS, SAS)

Project description

Our client is one of the leading multinational food and drink processing corporation. Being one of the largest food company in the world, company has strategic programs of regional platform management and optimization.

Responsibilities

Need to work on enhancements for the licenses financial dashboard for Program Reimagine + KPIs for the program. Several data sources and some calculations.

Work closely with project managers to understand and maintain focus on their analytics needs, including critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers

Proactively analyze data to answer key questions for stakeholders or yourself, with an eye on what drives business performance, and investigate and communicate which areas need improvement in efficiency and productivity

Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations on PowerBI through data interpretation and analysis, with reporting components from multiple data sources

Define and implement data acquisition and integration logic, selecting an appropriate combination of methods and tools within the defined technology stack to ensure optimal scalability and performance of the solution

Develop and maintain databases by acquiring data from primary and secondary sources, and build scripts that will make our data evaluation process more flexible or scalable across datasets

Must have

We need 5+ years of relevant experience as a developer. Look for a senior Developer in mining data as a data analyst

Proven analytics skills, including mining, evaluation, and visualisation

Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations

Strong SQL or Excel skills, with an aptitude for learning other analytics tools

Strong PowerBI skills, experience of data visualization and providing reports to different levels of management

Nice to have

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in mathematics, computer science, economics, or statistics

Experience with database and model design and segmentation techniques

Strong programming experience with frameworks, including XML, JavaScript, and ETL

Practical experience in statistical analysis through the use of statistical packages, including Excel, SPSS, and SAS

Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
