Summary

As a Customer Relations Host at Grosvenor Casino, The Victoria, you'll be the face of the business, welcoming and entertaining customers to create a memorable experience. Responsibilities include warmly greeting customers, collaborating with colleagues for efficient service, delivering excellent service across leisure, food, and beverage, actively selling, and ensuring regulatory compliance (alcohol licensing, food safety, safer gambling). You'll maintain immaculate operational standards and create a fun, engaging atmosphere exceeding guest expectations. The role requires shift work, including weekends and holidays.

Job Description

Grosvenor Casino, The Victoria

As a Customer Relations Host you will be the face of our business, greeting and entertaining our customers in a way that makes them feel welcomed and cared for. Your passion for people will be applied to the role to create a memorable and entertaining experience. You will be a host in the true sense of the word, working hard to create a fun and engaging atmosphere exceeding our guests expectations.

You will; 

  • Welcome customers warmly in to the business
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide efficient and dynamic service
  • Deliver an excellent quality experience across, leisure, food and beverage
  • Provide an outstanding level of service through selling
  • Ensure you proactively comply with all regulations, particularly for alcohol licensing conditions, food safety and safer gambling
  • Immaculate operational standards in all areas of food beverage and reception

The salary for this role is £30,680 per annum (full time).

As a valued team member, you'll receive a number of benefits including a share of uncapped tips, premium pay allowance after midnight, free meal on shift, opportunity for overtime at 1.5 hours, an exciting & full social calendar & 50% off food and soft drinks at Mecca & Grosvenor venues.

Qualifications

  • Positive attitude
  • Experience of working successfully in a hospitality role
  • (Preferred) Previous experience working in a multifaceted role
  • Fanatical about delivering unrivalled customer experience
  • Ability to collaborate with the wider business
  • Sound communication skills
  • Comfortable with change and ability to embrace new ways of working
  • Must be able to work shifts at any time of the day, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Be 18 + and have right to work in the UK
  • Preferred language: Arabic speaking
