This role focuses on improving custom silicon assembly and test manufacturing efficiency, yield, and product quality at Google. Responsibilities include developing data-driven solutions, utilizing statistical analysis and machine learning to analyze semiconductor production data, creating automated data pipelines and dashboards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in program management, scripting languages (Python), data visualization, and building automated data pipelines. A background in semiconductor manufacturing and testing is preferred. The position involves analyzing large datasets, identifying trends, predicting potential issues, and communicating findings effectively to stakeholders.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in technical field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years program management experience
  • Experience with Python for data analysis and automation
  • Data visualization and automated data pipeline experience
  • Statistical analysis and machine learning knowledge
Good to have:
  • Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering
  • 5+ years semiconductor manufacturing experience
  • Experience in Manufacturing, Quality, Reliability, or Product Engineering
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms in manufacturing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience in scripting languages (e.g., Python) for data analysis and automation, and experience with data visualization tools and techniques and building and maintaining automated data pipelines.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing and testing.
  • Experience in Manufacturing, Quality, Reliability, or Product Engineering related industries.
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their applications in manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and data mining methods.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to improve custom silicon assembly and test manufacturing efficiency, yield, and product quality.
  • Utilize statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to analyze large datasets of semiconductor production data, identify trends, and predict potential issues.
  • Create automated data pipelines and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide real-time insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements, develop data analysis strategies, and communicate findings effectively.
