Summary

The CRM Engineer II will build and manage Customer Relationship Marketing campaigns to boost revenue for Warner Bros. Discovery Studios. This role involves developing and executing campaigns across email, push notifications, and in-app messages, collaborating closely with Marketing and Operations teams. Responsibilities include campaign management (conception to analysis), quality assurance, performance analysis, strategic planning, and reporting. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. The position requires proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar platforms and a strong understanding of HTML, customer journeys, and international privacy regulations.

CRM Engineer II - Hyderabad, India

Position Overview:
The CRM Engineer will build and oversee Customer Relationship Marketing campaigns to drive revenue for WBD. This position will join the Warner Bros. Studios Marketing Operations team that supports all brands in the Warner Bros umbrella including WB films in theatrical and home entertainment, DC studios, Consumer Products, etc.
This role involves developing and implementing CRM campaigns through emails, push notifications, and in-app messages, and requires close collaboration with Marketing and Operations teams. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Management: Lead the end-to-end process of CRM marketing campaigns, from conception through to analysis. This includes setting up and executing test plans, tracking, managing creative processes, routing campaigns for approval, and optimizing campaigns in real-time.

  • Quality Assurance and Troubleshooting: Ensure the accuracy and quality of campaigns by proofreading, troubleshooting, and resolving any issues that arise during campaign execution.

  • Performance Analysis: Analyze campaign outcomes and produce detailed reports making recommendations for future optimizations based on performance data.

  • Strategic Planning: Maintain a clear and comprehensive marketing campaign calendar and facilitate ongoing testing strategies to enhance campaign performance.

  • Reporting and Insights: Regularly gather and consolidate campaign data to present actionable insights and performance metrics to senior management.

Qualifications Required:

  • 2-5 years of experience in email and mobile marketing or closely related fields.

  • Proficiency with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, or similar CRM platforms.

  • Strong understanding of HTML and templates for CRM communications.

  • o Experience building customer journeys and knowledge of how to leverage lifecycle marketing principals to maximize CRM program ROI.

  • Understanding of international privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and how they impact CRM program strategy.

  • Ability to analyze data and synthesize findings in utilizing tools like Excel or Tableau.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience in performance or direct response marketing, ideally within a large consumer-focused brand.

  • Demonstrated experience driving key business KPIs through innovative approaches to CRM strategy and execution.

  • Experience designing, implementing, and analyzing AB testing frameworks for CRM

  • Working knowledge of SQL strongly preferred.

  • Experience with data analysis in Python or R a strong plus.

  • Interest in movies, games, and comics is a plus
