POSITION SUMMARY

The Continuous Improvement Project Leader role is responsible for driving and executing continuous improvement initiatives within the Transport-by-Maersk (TbM) Operations department, focusing on optimizing processes across locations in Mekong Area.

This position aims to implement process improvements, and manage projects that enhance operational performance and productivity by working closely with cross-functional teams within Area TbM, Regional and Center team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage continuous improvement projects within the TbM Operations function, from project initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Analyze existing processes in Mekong Area (Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Myanmar) to identify areas for improvement and implement scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate with local teams and cross-functional stakeholders to drive process optimization, ensuring consistent and sustainable practices across the area, region and global scale.
  • Use project management methodologies to track and report project progress, including key performance indicators (KPIs), change management and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure continuous monitoring of implemented improvements to assess long-term effectiveness and sustainability.
  • Provide support for post-implementation stabilization and ensure that improvements are fully integrated into standard operating procedures (SOP).
  • Collaborate with other Continuous Improvement focal and area in regional to share best practices and harmonize improvements across the organization.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 02 to 03 years of experience in Continuous Improvement Project management in transportation / logistics industry.
  • Strong understanding of project management and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Language proficiency: Native Vietnamese level, fluent English level
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and process improvement.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (Microsoft Project, Asana) and data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Flexibility to travel across countries in Mekong to support local teams and projects.
