Keywords Studios seeks freelance Chinese to English game translators. Responsibilities include translating game text, ensuring accuracy and fluency. Candidates must possess native-level English, extensive Simplified Chinese knowledge, and at least one year of localization experience. A university degree or equivalent experience is required. Proficiency with translation tools and terminology management is essential. The role is fully remote and offers flexible working hours. Successful candidates will work on top video game titles.

Description

Do you want to be part of a leading international technical service provider to the global #Gaming Industry with studios in Asia, Europe, North and South America?

We are currently in the process of expanding our pool of Chinese into English #freelance #translators and we are looking for professional, experienced candidates to become members of our growing global team.

Candidates who meet the basic eligibility requirements will be asked to fill in some documents and work on a translation test that will be reviewed by our translation leads. After successful completion of the selection process, qualified candidates will be onboarded as our translators.

Requirements

Excellent knowledge of English (Mother tongue level is a must)
Extensive knowledge of Simplified Chinese
University degree or equivalent professional experience in the translation field
Minimum 1 year of localization experience
#Gaming #localization expertise and avid passion for video games
Computer skills (experience with translation tools and TM/Terminology management)
Professional affiliation is a plus
