Summary

Dynamis seeks a Business Development (BD) Lead to drive growth within the federal government contracting space, specifically targeting CISA and ICE within the Department of Homeland Security. This hybrid role, based in Falls Church, VA, requires leading full-cycle BD initiatives, including prospecting, partnership development, RFP responses, proposal writing, and strategic planning. The successful candidate will build strong customer relationships with senior officials, collaborate across the organization, and ensure accurate CRM data (Salesforce preferred). A minimum of 10 years of federal government business capture experience, along with 5+ years specifically with CISA/ICE, is required.

  • 10+ years Federal Gov't business capture experience
  • 5+ years winning contracts in CISA/ICE
  • Proposal writing experience
  • CRM software experience (Salesforce preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills

Dynamis is seeking a customer-focused Business Development (BD) Lead to support business development initiatives in the federal government contracting space. The BD Lead is responsible for BD activity and portfolio development specifically in Department of Homeland Security (DHS)’s Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE).

This position is a hybrid work model, reporting to our corporate HQ in Falls Church, VA.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and network to develop new business in CISA and/or ICE.
  • Develop partnerships with key government contractors and gain access to additional new business.
  • Lead full-cycle business development initiatives to help win government work.
  • Identify, review, and pursue government RFPs.
  • Assist in writing government proposals.
  • Formulate and execute business winning strategies, collect competitive intelligence, and develop and qualify pipeline.
  • Participate in business development meetings to assist in bid decisions, gate reviews, and the development of cost strategies.
  • Drive collaboration across the organization to bring best-in-class solutions to the customer and maximize win probability.
  • Assist in keeping CRM up to date with the most accurate capture information.
  • Establish and develop important customer relationships with senior-level officials and program stakeholders.
  • Occasional travel is required.

Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of Federal Government business capture experience
  • 5+ years of experience winning contracts in CISA and/or ICE
  • Familiarity with contract vehicles and government procurement process
  • Experience writing government proposals
  • Experience with CRM software required, Salesforce preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to consistently drive business development and connect with customers
  • Track record of success winning government work
