As a Body Shop Maintenance Technician at Tesla's Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg, you'll ensure the smooth operation of maintenance work and sustainable production of the Tesla Model Y. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing complex production machinery, performing maintenance and servicing, documenting work, and adhering to safety regulations. You'll collaborate with a team, contributing to process improvements and problem-solving. Experience in production machine maintenance and ideally the automotive industry is essential.
Must have:
- Completed vocational training in electronics, mechanics, or a comparable field
- Experience in production machine maintenance
- Automotive industry experience preferred
- Ability to prioritize tasks and achieve goals
- Hands-on mentality and shift work willingness
- German language proficiency
Good to have:
- English language proficiency

What You’ll DoAs a Body Shop Maintenance Technician (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the smooth running of all maintenance work, as well as ensuring the sustainable production of the Tesla Model Y will be your everyday responsibility.
What You’ll Bring- You eliminate simple errors and malfunctions mainly on our complex production machines
- You carry out repair, maintenance, servicing and conversion work on all production machines according to specifications and also participate in preventive maintenance measures
- You ensure comprehensive documentation of all maintenance, conversion and servicing work
- You perform your work in compliance with all guidelines, safety and accident prevention regulations, including the consistent wearing of personal protective equipment
- You have completed vocational training as an electronics technician or industrial mechanic, maintenance mechanic, locksmith or have a comparable qualification
- You have first work experience in the field of maintenance of production machines
- You have relevant experience in production / manufacturing, ideally in the automotive industry
- You know what's important in the automotive industry and can organize multiple tasks with equally high priorities, as well as set and achieve goals
- You bring a hands-on mentality as well as a willingness to work shifts
- You get excited about new trends in production and come up with creative solutions to improve processes and problems
- You communicate at the same level with your team and have an empathy, with which you can positively influence the work performance of each team member (m/f/d)
- You speak and understand German and additional English is desirable
