Job Description
Tesla's Body Repair Program seeks a Vehicle Detailer in Eagle Farm to contribute to its innovative automotive repair industry. Responsibilities include performing entry-level inspection, repair, and service of Tesla electric vehicles; operating various hand and power tools; maintaining records; ordering supplies; supporting journeymen technicians; and ensuring vehicle cleanliness. The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of automotive collision repair experience, knowledge of detailing techniques (wet sanding, polishing, buffing, waxing), and basic automotive repair skills. The role requires attention to detail, willingness to learn, strong teamwork abilities, and effective record-keeping. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of vehicle restoration within Tesla’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.
Must have:

What You’ll Do- 3+ years of experience in automotive collision repair
- Performs entry-level work in the inspection, repair, and service of Tesla electric vehicles
- Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
- Perform equipment inspections and adjustments
- Maintain records of time and materials
- May order shop supplies and parts as required
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Help maintain vehicle cleanliness of customer cars
- Support journeymen technicians as needed
- Knowledge of: Methods, techniques for detailing vehicles - wet sand, polish, buff , wax, etc.
- Efficient skills in basic automotive techniques related to repair and servicing of automobiles
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions with attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new and advanced automotive technologies
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
- Perform detailed, daily record keeping and reporting
- Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
- Work in a team-based environment and achieve common goals
- Retail automotive service experience is a plus
- Valid driver’s license
