The Association Engagement Specialist will expand Egnyte's brand presence by working with industry associations and trade groups. Responsibilities include engaging with new associations to forge partnerships, supporting field marketing activities (webinars, events), managing event logistics, overseeing the 'Industry Support Program', handling administrative tasks (legal review, POs), identifying speaking opportunities, and creating event briefs for sales teams. The role requires strong communication, collaboration, project management skills, and the ability to work independently. Familiarity with industry-specific organizations is a plus but not required.

As an Industry Engagement Specialist, you will play a key role in expanding our brand presence by working with industry associations and trade groups. You will collaborate closely with Vertical Practice Leaders, Marketing, Sales, and other internal teams to drive engagement. Through these efforts, you will help build lasting relationships with industry leaders and support the planning and execution of relevant events and conferences.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Reinforce Egnyte’s position as a trusted solution and partner that supports the industry by providing relevant content that their members are interested in
  • Engage with new industry associations to assess mutually beneficial long-term partnerships, while cultivating relationships with existing Associations
  • Support a range of field marketing activities as it relates to Association engagement, such as Association driven webinars and in-person events. Acquire registrant/attendee/member lists when applicable.
  • Partner with Field Marketing to manage logistics and in-event support as needed including coordination of event materials shipping to and from our consignment warehouse as well as registering Egnyte staff and other related tasks for Association event support.
  • Support Egnyte’s ‘Industry Support Program’ by signing up qualified Associations and their Chapters while also assisting in the on-boarding and training to ensure full adoption
  • Oversee administrative activities in a timely manner relating to legal review and PO creation/approval for Association related activities/events/memberships. Collaborate with AP, Finance and Legal as needed.
  • Identify and oversee submission opportunities for thought-leadership and speaking opportunities for Vertical SME’s to speak at
  • Create event briefs that enable the sellers on upcoming events

 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with Association or Club Management or equivalent role in an entry-level Project Management, Business Development, Sales or Marketing capacity
  • Practical experience with managing logistics plans relating to events
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across different departments and geographies while holding others accountable
  • Proven ability to take initiative and complete projects in a timely manner with minimal oversight
  • Ability to travel 1-4x per quarter as needed
  • Familiarity with industry specific organizations such as AGC, CFMA, CDISC or ABA or equivalent (Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Financial Services, and Life Sciences) is desired, but not required.

 

COMPENSATION:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across multiple U.S.

geographic locations, and pay varies based on defined markets. The

standard base pay range for this position across the U.S. is $65k -

$85k annually. Pay varies by work location and may also be

dependent on job-related skills, knowledge, and/or experience.
