Job Description

Tesla seeks an Associate Project Manager Workplace to support workplace projects enhancing operational and employee experiences. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations (site walks, POs, work orders), executing workplace improvement projects, ensuring alignment with Tesla's ethos and safety standards, preparing stakeholder reports, supporting procurement of design finishes, driving process improvements, resolving escalations, and managing quarterly/annual purchase orders and invoices. The role demands expertise in workplace operations, office management, hospitality, and project management, with a focus on space management, event support, department moves, and breakroom/common area maintenance.

What to Expect

Tesla is looking for an Associate Project Manager Workplace who will play a critical role supporting workplace projects that support Tesla’s operational and employee experience needs. Our team achieves results by being driven, innovative, collaborative and trustworthy. This role is hands-on and provides expertise in the areas of workplace operations, office management, hospitality and project management.

This role is responsible for developing and overseeing project resources, preparing budgets, monitoring progress and keeping stakeholders informed within the confines of Tesla’s goals and vision. This role will support and execute a variety of workplace projects, including space management throughout the buildings, incl. Seating Plan, reactive tasks like broken desk, storage (e.g., lockers and cabinets), event support (e.g., coordinate staff and set-up and clean-up of events), breakrooms and common areas, department moves throughout the facility and/or other Tesla facilities.

What You’ll Do

Contribute to managing day-to-day workplace operations e.g., conducting site walks, issuing/tracking PO’s, creating/dispatching/closing work orders, interfacing with internal departments as well as overseeing external suppliers;
Participate in workplace projects aimed at improving and growing our facilities, enhancing our employees’ on-site experience, and supporting critical business needs;
Ensure all workplace projects align with Tesla’s ethos, employee experience standards and safety requirements;
Prepare reports for key stakeholders and site leadership regarding the status of the project and support the selection and procurement of design finishes that align with overall project goals as well as Tesla design standards;
Support and execute driving (process) developments, improvements and efficiencies and execute all incoming requests for Workplace topics;
Support with resolution of escalations related to all repair/maintenance requests and recurring services within our workplace locations;
Creation and management of quarterly/annual purchase orders as well as manage Invoices and payments

What You’ll Bring

Relevant experience in Workplace Operations, Facilities Services, and/or closely related function relating to hospitality or project management;
Self-starter with the ability to work under minimal guidance and direction;
Enthusiasm for exceeding expectations and driving continuous improvements in creating an attractive workplace and seamless workplace operations;
Understanding for Tesla’s vision to be translated into innovative workplace initiatives;
Excellent communication skills in Dutch, with a business level fluency in English (written and spoken);
Resourceful and self-motivated with ability to work in changing environments;
Proven organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks;
