What You'll Do
We are looking for an Animator specializing in Facial Animation to join the MetaHuman team at Epic Games. You will be part of the Content Creation team, providing world-class facial animation to some of the industry's leading game developers while helping contribute to the evolution of MetaHuman Animator and MetaHuman Creator. If you are passionate about pushing the boundaries of facial animation using industry-leading technologies, then we’d love to hear from you.
In this role, you will
- Create realistic facial animations while utilizing and manipulating motion capture data derived from facial animation solves
- Apply hand-key animation knowledge to push performances beyond the scope of the actor
- Create fluid, smooth, realistic animations with 3D characters. This must be demonstrated within a showreel
- Work with the animation lead to address any fixes to hit the high-quality bar
- Collaborate with other departments throughout the MetaHuman development team
What we're looking for
- A minimum of 2 years of 3D animation experience
- Passion for facial animation, digital humans, and gaming
- Good problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in the knowledge of Maya and other 3D software packages
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work closely with artists, designers, and programmers
- Knowledge of Unreal Engine, MetaHuman Creator, and MetaHuman Animator is a bonus
