This Account Executive role at Google Customer Solutions focuses on serving Google's advertisers, primarily small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). Responsibilities include establishing partnerships with executives, acting as a trusted consultant, optimizing advertising investments, managing client portfolios, and creating multi-quarter growth plans. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in advertising sales, marketing, consulting, or media, with fluency in English and Korean. They will be responsible for prioritizing excellent customer experiences, generating plans in collaboration with internal teams, and defining business goals and metrics for success. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, a deep understanding of digital advertising, and the ability to influence C-level stakeholders. The position involves working closely with customers, understanding their needs, and presenting Google solutions to help them achieve their business goals.
Must have:

Job Details


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience working in advertising sales, marketing, consulting, media, or working with advertising agencies.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Korean fluently to interact in this customer-facing role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context, and demonstrated ability to achieve quotas to drive growth.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients and influencing C-level stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading and high executive functioning within the digital marketing space.
  • Knowledge of traditional and online marketing strategy and tactics, and product knowledge across all digital advertising products.
  • Ability to assess and solve client needs via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling and engaged promotions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.

As an Account Executive, you will use your working knowledge of advertising and your industry vertical to help your team identify and enable longer-term opportunities by contributing to business plan development, account-level strategy, and annual activation plans. You will support your team in business strategy development, presenting, customer relationship growth, and opportunity sizing. You will contribute to cross-team collaborations to support customer growth, align on opportunity/project timelines and goals, and ensure Google solutions are presented to customers. You will develop relationships with customers, acting as a point of contact.

  • Manage a group of businesses by understanding what promotes growth, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and creating multi-quarter plans for growth.
  • Prioritize and deliver an excellent customer experience to Google's advertisers.
  • Generate plans by collaborating with specialists, engineers and product teams, and define business goals, key strategies and metrics for success.
