Job Description

TiMi Montreal seeks a Senior 3D Character Designer to create high-quality, realistic character models for their new AAA action RPG. Responsibilities include modeling high-quality, stylized faces; creating next-gen character models and assets; integrating assets into the Unreal Engine; and collaborating with other teams on character and skin creation. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of experience in character modeling, excels at creating realistic facial features, understands PBR materials, and is proficient in the Unreal Engine.

Must have:

5+ years experience in character modeling
Expert in creating realistic facial features
Proficient in Unreal Engine
Strong understanding of PBR materials
Excellent aesthetic skills

TiMi Montreal is a new AAA development team making an innovative open world role-playing game in Unreal Engine 5 that is part of the award-winning TiMi Studio Group and Tencent. The studio’s core team has a proven track record making hit open world games, including Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry and Watch Dogs. This is an ambitious team who aspires to be a flagship first-party studio for TiMi, reaching global audiences of passionate gamers who appreciate the studio’s optimistic and inclusive culture that rewards disruptive, risk-taking game development.

What the Role Entails

1.根据项目要求制作出高水准的美型脸部模型；

2.完成高品质次世代角色模型，资源整理，引擎合入验证，效果跟进；

3.配合其他模块完成角色以及皮肤的整套流程。

Who We Look For

1.擅长次时代美型脸部的制作，学习能力强，研究相关妆容，制作出不同风格的脸部；

2.有次时代角色服装类的制作经验，对引擎材质有更好的理解，能不断尝试去提升品质；

3.美术专业相关，5年以上角色相关制作经验；

4.审美能力优秀，能及时发现问题并改善；

5.能熟练使用UE引擎，完成并验收跟进表现效果；

6.热爱游戏行业，有较强的责任心，工作投入度高，配合团队完成任务。
