Your mission

We are a worldwide gaming loyalty platform operator and publisher. Our purpose is to enable free-to-play mobile game players to get rewarded for their hobby. We launched JustPlay in the US in 2020, and now our product is one of the leading loyalty rewards apps in the world. Our team is based in 13+ countries and our headquarters are in Berlin, Germany. While serving our 500,000 daily active players, developing our loyalty app and awesome games, we value fairness, having fun together, creativity and focusing on the things that matter.

We are looking for a new team member to join our Legal team as a Working Student Legal. Are you an advanced law or business law student eager to gain hands-on experience by tackling real-world legal challenges in a dynamic start-up environment? As a Working Student, you will support our legal department with a wide range of legal tasks and contribute to various projects.

Job responsibilities

• Process and maintain existing contract archive according to instructions
• Review and incorporate new contracts
• Prepare summaries and assessments of contractual terms, focusing on data protection
• Analyze international compliance requirements for mobile applications
• Conduct in-depth research using legal databases and gather relevant legal information
• Procure information, including communication with courts and vendors

The experience we hope you bring to JustPlay

• Ideally, a completed First State Exam in Law or advanced University semester in law (preferably focused on international contract law or data protection law)
• You have an interest in researching, analyzing, and resolving legal issues
• You have a service-oriented mindset and a collaborative approach, particularly in working across departments like Marketing and Finance
• You have a strong team spirit with the ability to work independently and efficiently
• You are solution-oriented, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality results
• You have an affinity for technology, with a particular interest in mobile applications
• You are comfortable with tools such as Google Docs, MS Office, and etc.
• You have an excellent communication skills, with strong written and spoken proficiency in both German and English
