The Visual Analytics Specialist II will design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI. Responsibilities include analyzing large datasets to identify trends and patterns, crafting compelling narratives to communicate insights to diverse audiences, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring data accuracy, and providing training. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, proven experience in data visualization and analytics, proficiency in Power BI and SQL, strong analytical and communication skills, and 5-7 years of experience.

Job Description:

A detail-oriented Visualization Intelligence Analyst with expertise in transforming complex data into clear and actionable visual insights. Proven track record in developing interactive dashboards and data visualizations that support strategic decision-making across various business functions. Adept at storytelling with data, leveraging analytical skills to communicate findings effectively to diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Visualization Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, to present data insights in a user-friendly manner.

Data Analysis: Analyse large and complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that support business objectives and inform strategic initiatives.

Storytelling with Data: Craft compelling narratives that effectively communicate insights to diverse audiences, ensuring clarity and engagement through visualization techniques.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to understand data needs and provide tailored visualization solutions.

Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy and integrity by conducting thorough data validation and cleaning processes.

Training and Support: Provide training sessions and resources to empower staff in leveraging visualization tools and understanding data insights.

Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data visualization and analytics, recommending improvements and innovative solutions to enhance reporting capabilities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.

Proven experience in data visualization, analytics, or a similar role.

Proficiency in visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and familiarity with data manipulation languages (e.g., SQL, Google Big Query).

Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.

Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights for diverse audiences.
