About the Role

As an VBA Developer with CloudHire Consulting, you'll leverage your expertise in Advanced VBA to help our clients streamline critical business processes. You'll be embedded within a client team, working collaboratively with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities within the finance department.

Project Focus: Streamlining Finance Processes

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team that automates processes within a rapidly growing anesthesia company. You'll be key in improving their financial close process, data processing speed, and overall departmental efficiency.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document existing finance department processes at the client site.
  • Identify opportunities for automation using Advanced VBA scripting within Microsoft Excel.
  • Develop, test, and deploy automated solutions using VBA macros and functions.
  • Integrate automated processes with existing finance systems for data transfer (focusing on VBA capabilities for data manipulation and transfer).
  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing VBA macros.
  • Work collaboratively with client stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs and address compliance requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in VBA development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in developing and implementing automation solutions using VBA.
  • Strong expertise in Advanced VBA programming concepts, including functions, macros, objects, error handling, and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Experience with data manipulation and transfer techniques within VBA.
  • In-depth understanding of Microsoft Excel functionalities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Detail-oriented and quality-focused.
