In Summary:
We’re looking for a Project Manager with a strong background in Agile methodologies, infrastructure technologies, and project management to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time, within scope, and involving all relevant internal stakeholders.
This role will require close collaboration across teams and a solid understanding of both technical and operational aspects, especially within the DevOps, Ops, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) domains.
The Job:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define scope, manage project planning, forecast resources, and organize budgeting and scheduling timelines.
- Reporting to our Delivery team and other stakeholders on the status of various projects, including comprehensive report creation.
- Ensuring resources and skills are allocated effectively between projects, leveraging the Agile framework, Jira, and Confluence for project management and documentation.
- Identifying and mitigating risks and opportunities across projects to ensure successful outcomes.
- Planning project governance, quality assurance, and selecting supportive tools.
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
- Facilitating communication and collaboration between internal and external stakeholders, including third parties.
- Measuring project performance, proactively monitoring project progress, and addressing issues as needed.
- Prioritizing project activities and intervening when gaps or risks are identified.
- Planning, scheduling releases, and ensuring that priorities are well understood and met.
What you already have:
- 3+ years managing infrastructure projects within the DevOps/Ops/SRE space.
- Agile experience is a must, including a strong understanding of Scrum. Scrum certification is highly preferred.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence to manage Agile projects and project documentation.
- AWS experience with a good understanding of infrastructure technologies and cloud environments.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical parties.
- Strong interpersonal skills, especially in managing cross-functional remote teams.
- Good understanding of change management, risk management, and quality assurance.
- Strong ability to prioritize, plan releases, and manage scheduling for successful project delivery.
