We are looking for a Senior Strategist to be employed in our Milan office.

 

Role Purpose 

 

We are seeking a Senior Strategist who looks beyond the screen and is eager to dive into the action, collaborating with all the Dentsu Creative teams in inventing new ways of making brands relevant and iconic. 

 

As a Senior Strategist you will work closely with all the Dentsu Creative teams to be an expert of consumer, industry and culture trends and insights, to develop brand and communication strategies for both Italian and Global brands.

You will be the person responsible for shaping a horizontal, long term strategic vision capable of guiding our numerous vertical specialists (creative, design, social, experiential, influencers, digital experience and many others), with whom you will build an ongoing collaborative relationship.

 

Key Accountabilities 

As a Senior Strategist, you will: 

 

  • Research and synthesise consumer behaviours, cultural trends, competition and industry trends and benchmarks into challenges and insights capable of unlocking transformative strategies and ideas.
  • Work in collaboration with the data team (that is part of the strategy department) to integrate data and consumer primary research into your thinking.
  • Define the future vision for existing brands and becoming the agency brand guardian for our clients.
  • Design integrated communication plans to roadmap and turn the agency’s campaign and activations ideas into reality. You will do this in, when and where needed, with Dentsu Media strategy teams.
  • Help the agency and the strategy department evolve its methodologies and ways of working with proactive ideas and suggestions.
  • You will do all of this both by guiding, mentoring and leading more junior members of the team as a lead on certain projects, as well as in support of a Strategy Director on bigger projects.

  • You have a propensity for teamwork, listening and mediation.
  • You continuously challenge yourself, your thinking and your knowledge of the strategic discipline.
  • You are proactive and willing to go beyond the mere execution of your tasks, exploring new and different solutions to accomplish them.
  • You know how to lead internal teams and clients with simple, powerful, data-driven rationales.
  • You have excellent written and spoken Italian, fluent in written English, at least good spoken English skills.
