This Strategic Enterprise Account Executive role focuses on driving digital transformation within the Financial Services Industry (FSI) for Microsoft's most strategic clients in Spain. Responsibilities include leading account teams, executing Go-to-Market strategies, maximizing share of wallet, achieving revenue targets, and collaborating across the organization. The role demands executive engagement, closing large, complex deals, and leveraging the breadth of Microsoft's solutions portfolio. Success requires strong leadership, customer obsession, and a proven track record of growth in market share. The position offers a hybrid work model (up to 50% remote).

Overview

Microsoft’s Enterprise Account Team focuses on empowering customers on their digital journey.  This team is responsible for envisioning new possibilities for our customers, delivering solutions that result in targeted business outcomes and driving revenue growth for Microsoft.  

 

As a Strategic Enterprise Account Executive, you will have the opportunity to drive digital technology transformation in partnership with our most Strategic customers in the FSI segment, to achieve both Microsoft and customer business outcomes.  Leveraging your large, multi-functional team across the breadth of the Microsoft solutions portfolio, engage at the most senior levels of your customer and bring industry-relevant solutions to help the customer adopt and embrace digital technologies.

 

With a proven history of driving growth in market share, achieving sales targets, customer obsession, and partner collaboration, this role will give the opportunity to leverage your extensive customer network and sales experience to execute against your customer’s account plan. This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% from home.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

 

Bachelor's Degree AND decade plus years experience working in/with an Financial Services industry and/or driving digital transformation OR Master's Degree AND extensive experience working in/with an Financial Services industry and/or driving digital transformation OR equivalent experience.

Extensive experience making recommendations to and/or collaborating with mid-to-senior level executives.

Extensive experience closing large, complex agreements/deals.

 

Additional or preferred qualifications

  • Experience of working with the leading banks in Spain
  • Fluency in English and Spanish languages 

 

 

Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Customer Obsession

  • Deliver business growth through leading and empowering account teams. Lead execution of Go to Market (GTM) to achieve customer business outcomes across the entire customer lifecycle.
  • Accelerate customer satisfaction and model executive engagements with business decision makers and C-Level executives.
  • Maximize share of wallet, achieve targets (billed revenue, consumption, and adoption), and win against competition through flawless execution.
  • You will lead partnership across the organization to achieve business value for customers and business results for Microsoft.
