Job Description
The Sr. Manager - Legal (Corporate Functions) at Dream Sports will serve as the primary legal contact for various corporate functions, including InfoSec, Tech Security, HR, Admin, and Finance. Responsibilities include providing strategic legal advice on internal policy development (HR, information security, procurement), offering legal opinions and solutions, and collaborating with external counsel. The role requires expertise in corporate, tax, and labor/employment law within ITES/SaaS/MNC environments, along with experience in establishing compliance processes for consumer protection and data privacy. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of relevant experience.

Job Details
Legal @Dream Sports:
Dream Sports (DS) Legal is the in house legal function that supports all divisions within Dream Sports ecosystem on varied legal issues relating to the existing as well as prospective businesses for the group ranging from general corporate, M&A, fundraise, structuring, litigation and litigation strategy, IP strategy, registration, monitoring and enforcement, data protection etc.
Your Role:
- Single point of contact for corporate functions of the group including Info Sec, Tech Security, HR, Admin, Finance, etc.
- Provide strategic advisory to corporate functions on best practices for formulating internal policies in relation to human resource management, information security and procurement
- Provide legal opinions on various issues raised from corporate functions and provide resolutions in the most business friendly and compliant manner
- Working with external counsels and law firms for timely deliveries.
Qualifiers:
- Minimum 6 to 10 years of relevant experience
- Proven work experience of working on corporate, tax, labour/employment in ITES/SAAS/MNCs
- Must have worked on setting up processes for compliance with consumer protection, data privacy and data protection
