Corporate Strategy is a highly visible team of approximately ten professionals with backgrounds in media, consulting, and investment banking.  Serving as in-house advisors to The Walt Disney Company’s executive leadership, the team plays a critical role in shaping the company’s long-term strategic vision as well as ensuring it remains well-positioned within the dynamic media and entertainment space.  The team is responsible for assessing emerging industry and consumer trends, identifying new business models and growth opportunities, and driving key strategic initiatives across the company.  Partnering closely with senior business and functional leaders, the team develops strategic insights and recommendations that help inform key decisions for executive management.

What You Will Do

Senior Analysts serve a key role on the team, with responsibilities that include formulating data-driven insights, building financial models, helping to prepare executive presentations, interfacing with stakeholders across the organization, and communicating effectively to leadership and the larger team (orally and in writing).

The position allows candidates to develop quantitative, qualitative, communication and leadership skills, while building a rich base of knowledge within the media and entertainment industry. Candidates will have the unique opportunity to gain exposure to the executive decision-making process, expand their industry network, and influence the strategic direction of one of America’s most iconic companies.

This role is designed to be an approximately two-year program.  It is meant to set the foundation for a successful career within or outside of Disney as demonstrated by an excellent track record of prior team members achieving placement at leading MBA programs and senior positions across Disney and/or other media & entertainment companies.

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, California is $103,500 to $138,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
