Solutions Architect

As a PAM Solutions Architect specialising in iGaming, you will be responsible for designing and guiding the development of Player Account Management platforms that are robust, scalable, and secure. You will work closely with key stakeholders, including development teams and product managers, to ensure that solutions align with business objectives and industry regulations, particularly in the areas of player data management, security, and seamless third-party integrations.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop a strategic technology roadmap, focusing on PAM solutions that drive platform scalability, performance, security, and compliance.
• Architect and design solutions for the Player Account Management systems, ensuring seamless integration with third-party platforms, payment gateways, user interfaces, and other iGaming services.
• Ensure all architecture designs and implementations meet industry standards and comply with relevant regulations such as GDPR, AML, and responsible gaming.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and tools that can enhance player experience and back-end management, including cloud services, microservices architecture, and DevOps practices.
• Lead the selection and integration of PAM-related cloud infrastructure and third-party APIs, ensuring high levels of data protection, security, and fraud prevention.
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and other teams to align the PAM architecture with product goals, business needs, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices are followed for all PAM system implementations.
• Implement security protocols such as encryption, authentication, and other protective measures to safeguard player accounts and sensitive data.
• Regularly monitor the performance of PAM systems, identify bottlenecks, and recommend optimisations for infrastructure and application design.
• Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation, including design specifications, integration guidelines, and best practices for PAM solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; a master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF) is advantageous.
• 7-10 years of experience in software development and architecture, with at least 3-5 years in iGaming or a related industry.
• Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale Player Account Management systems within iGaming platforms.
• Strong knowledge of iGaming regulations, including player data privacy, payment systems, and responsible gaming practices.
• Understanding of licensing requirements for gambling authorities.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Java, C#, or Python, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Expertise in microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices as they relate to PAM systems.
• Familiarity with API design and integration, as well as front-end technologies for player-facing components.
• Strong understanding of database design (SQL, NoSQL), and experience with data management in PAM systems.
• Ability to communicate architectural designs and technical decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and experience in ensuring compliance and security in PAM systems.
