Job Description

As a Software Engineer on the Growth Engineering team at Character.AI, you'll contribute to bringing the platform to millions of new users. This highly cross-functional team owns key business metrics around user growth, retention, and monetization. Responsibilities include building features to improve user acquisition, onboarding, and retention; running and analyzing A/B tests; and brainstorming new experiment ideas. The ideal candidate possesses 2+ years of full-stack software development experience, with React experience being a plus. You'll be instrumental in shaping the future of consumer AI at a rapidly growing company.

Must have:

2+ years full-stack development experience
Build features for user acquisition, onboarding, retention
Run and analyze A/B tests
Contribute to experiment brainstorming

About the role

As a Software Engineer on the Growth Engineering team, you will help bring Character.AI to millions of new users around the globe. We’re a highly cross-functional team that owns some of Character’s most important business metrics around user growth, retention, and monetization.

Responsibilities

Build new features aimed at improving user acquisition, user onboarding, and user retention.
Run and analyze A/B experiments to test the impact of new features
Participate in brainstorming experiment ideas for experiments the team should run

Job Requirements

2+ years of full stack software development experience
Experience using React is a plus
