Site Merchandising Specialist

Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We are currently working with an eCommerce retail giant to find a Site Merchandising Specialist for a 3+ month contract opportunity based in Hoboken, NJ.

In this role, you will play a key part in the day-to-day management of site operations, including item setup, product categorization, ranking, and visual merchandising. You will have the opportunity to enhance the user experience, drive site traffic, and support key business initiatives within a fast-paced and dynamic eCommerce environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily site operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes across various departments.
• Build, optimize, and maintain site experiences for seasonal campaigns and business categories.
• Resolve backend issues related to item setup, content management system (CMS), attribution, and navigation.
• Develop and maintain a strong backend taxonomy to support new and existing product categories.
• Optimize the website’s structure for discoverability and SEO to drive traffic and improve site visibility.

Requirements:

• Experience in site merchandising, product categorization, or eCommerce operations.
• Strong knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and backend website taxonomy.
• Understanding of SEO best practices and techniques for optimizing site visibility.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of your assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
