Job Description

Tesla's Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg seeks a Site Manager to oversee all on-site construction activities. Responsibilities include managing multi-project execution, ensuring compliance with design, schedule, and quality standards (including cleanroom conditions), leading and coordinating site teams (including subcontractors and suppliers), enforcing health and safety regulations, identifying and resolving potential issues, and escalating problems to the Construction Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3+ years' experience as a Site Manager, preferably with cleanroom experience in battery or pharmaceutical factories. Proficiency in English is mandatory; German or Polish is a plus. Strong decision-making skills and proficiency in construction management software are also essential.

We at Gigafactory Berlin Design and Construction are looking for a Site Manager to join an energetic and vibrant environment. In this role, your main responsibility is to coordinate ensure with all stakeholders that the construction project is successful from concept to completion.

What You’ll Do

Project Supervision: Manage all on-site construction activities to ensure multi projects are executed according to the design, schedule, and quality standards. Ensure construction activities comply with cleanroom conditions.
Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate site teams (handymen), including subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain workflow and productivity.
Health & Safety: Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all site personnel, particularly in accordance with Cell Production room specifications.
Problem Solving: Identify potential issues or delays and implement solutions to mitigate risks or setbacks. And escalate topics to Construction Manager, when needed.

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred
Proven experience (3+ years) as a Site Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry. Preference for clean room experience as battery or pharmaceutical factories.
Proficiency in English written and verbal communication is a must. German or Polish is a plus.
Strong decision-making skills and get-things-done attitude.
Proficiency in construction management software and tools (Navisworks, Bluebeam, MS-Office)
