Polygon Labs is a software development company building and developing a network of aggregated blockchains via the AggLayer, secured by Ethereum. As public infrastructure, the AggLayer will bring together user bases and liquidity for any connected chain, and leverage Ethereum as a settlement layer. Polygon Labs has also contributed to the core development of several widely-adopted scaling protocols and tools for launching blockchains, including Polygon PoS, Polygon zkEVM, and Polygon Miden, which is in development as well as Polygon CDK.
Reporting to the Head of IT, this role will work closely with our Security and SPEC teams to help deliver seamless and secure access to our 100’s of SaaS tools, to our employee’s across the globe. This position is key to the overall architecture, integration and maintenance of all the tools and services used internally across the org.
This hands-on technical role plays a critical part in designing and implementing automated procedures, and setting policies with an eye towards standards and scaling.
Own, integrate and maintain all tools and services used internally across the org, including, but not limited to:
HRIS apps, Support Ticketing systems, Productivity Suites, CRM apps, Teleconferencing apps, source code & password management services.
Implement best practice policies and procedures for onboarding, scaling, security, backups and disaster recovery, for all services.
Coordinate monitoring performance and availability of services with DevOps teams.
Coordinate with teams across the org to manage capacity planning for all services, including maintaining and managing license pools for services.
Support the acquisition of new tools, from requirements gathering, selection and testing, to purchase and deployment with rollout planning and integration with existing tools.
Coordinate with HR & team leads to manage standardized employee groupings across tools, and, customization of workflows and admin rights per team within tools and services.
Design staff onboarding and exit procedures, and policies for services in coordination with HR & team leads.
Standardize management procedures and contacts for all services.
Coordinate with the Finance team to standardize payment policies and methods for services across the org.
Manage end-user training plans and documentation for service use.
3-5 years experience working with Okta - Engineering secure access and efficient workflows for 100+ SaaS tools.
3-5 years experience managing Google Workspace for a global workforce of 300+ users
Extensive experience administering Slack Enterprise for corporate communications.
3+ years administering Mobile Device Management for Mac and Windows Laptops - Jamf and Intune MDM preferred. (80% of our users work with Mac laptops)
3+ years managing Jira Service Desk and Jira Service Management for multiple functions.
3+ years experience with Cloudflare
Previous experience managing and securing Github Enterprise access and settings.
A strong work ethic with a high aptitude for understanding and learning the administrative features of new SaaS tools.
Experience working from home to support a global company.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Certifications in Okta, Google Workspace or Slack.
