GT is looking for a Senior Project Manager to bring in solid technical expertise.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of project management expertise, client communication skills, technical knowledge, an ownership approach, and a business-oriented mind, a desire to not just solve problems but become a strategic partner of each client.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:

    • Plan, execute, and monitor projects using Agile or Scrum methodologies.

    • Develop project plans, schedules, and resource strategies for timely delivery.

    • Provide and oversee the framework for other DM, to ensure consistency across GT

    • Project governance managing stakeholders at all levels in a consistent way across GT

    • Flexible and adaptable, willing to take on operational tasks as needed to help the team

  • Client Communication:

    • Participate in pre-sale calls with prospects together with the business development team as needed.

    • Participate in Discovery Stages as a business analyst, and work together with Solution Architect to develop Discovery deliverables.

    • Manage client relationships, expectations, and feedback effectively.

    • Ensure customer satisfaction through clear and proactive communication.

    • Comfortable working and maintaining multiple client relationships and projects

  • Technical Oversight:

    • Collaborate with technical teams, ensuring project requirements are met.

    • Implement quality assurance processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Financial and Resource Management:

    • Track project costs, budgets, and resource allocations.

    • Make data-driven decisions for optimal resource utilization and project success.

    • Generate compelling proposals and quotes for clients based on the briefing materials provided carrying out additional discovery work as needed

  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:

    • Identify and address project challenges and risks promptly.

    • Make informed decisions, prioritize tasks, and drive problem resolution.

    • Effective escalation to executives providing choice and recommendations as needed

    • Carry out root cause analysis and retrospective project reviews and implement steps to mitigate and improve based on learnings

  • Change Management:

    • Manage scope changes and organizational transitions effectively.

    • Foster adaptability and resilience within teams to navigate changes.

Essential knowledge, skills & experience:

  • Proven experience (4+ years) in project management/delivery management roles., technical account management, technical pre-sales, solution consultancy, technical product management, BA or similar roles.

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Technical background and previous hands-on experience in software engineering, QA, or related fields are a plus but not necessary

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within deadlines.

  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.

  • Commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and team success.

  • Flexible team player collaborates effectively with functions across the organization

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Nice-to-have

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams, and part-time team members, fostering collaboration and resolving conflicts.

  • Technical background as a developer/QA.

  • Experience in Lifescience, Health tech, Med Tech domain

  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner) is a plus.
