Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Analyst with a passion for data driven platforms, digital advertising, and the gaming industry to help us scale our player-first advertising business. Your work will ensure that ads feel like a natural extension of gameplay, rather than an interruption via creating enticing personalised ads experiences. You will play a pivotal role in the decision-making that will directly impact the top-line revenue generation for our biggest world-class title.

Responsibilities

  • Distil key insights from A/B tests and conduct deep-dives that will directly fuel ads revenue growth.
  • Work hand in hand with a product manager on optimising personalised ads player experiences catering for various player momentary needs and behavioural profiles.
  • Derive accurate and actionable insights from data informing ads monetisation strategy.
  • Create and own analytics dashboards that will inform and update stakeholders on the ongoing ad monetisation trends.
  • Oversee the operations flow of setting up ads experiences and collaborate with cross-functional teams providing operators with data-backed operational specifications.
  • Be part of a team of 30+ talents working on building the best monetisation & economy experiences for our players!

Specific factors that are helpful to excel in this role include:

  • Work experience: 5+ years experience working in an analytical role within advertising, gaming, tech or management consulting
  • Business Insight: Demonstrated business judgement in generating insights and actionable next steps from complex data
  • SQL: Fluency in SQL and a proven ability to navigate a data warehouse to analyse the behaviour of our 300+ million players (BigQuery is the dialect we use)
  • Statistics: Understanding the AB-testing methodology, ability to make judgement calls on these or the others methods’ applicability
  • Analytical coding: Using tools such as Excel, R or Python for analytical purposes
  • Communication: Designing good ways of communicating, visualising or reporting your results/analysis so they are clear and unambiguous

Bonus Points

  • Hands-on experience with mobile ad technologies & operations, familiarity with various ad formats, methods of ad networks optimisations, ads economy balancing.
  • Extensive knowledge of Looker.
